Outside of a dog, a book is man's best friend. Inside a dog, it's too dark to read. — Groucho Marx
As this school year draws to a close, it’s time for us to call in all library books and get our shelves in order. At the moment we have over 2000 items loaned out!! In order to be able to shelve everything up and check for missing books, nothing will be loaned out from today, June 2 until Wednesday, June 8. Between Thursday, June 9 and Friday, June 10, you may borrow books for the summer if all of your books from the school year have been returned (or brought in for renewal).
The library will be closed from June 13 – 20 (although you may return books any time).
The library will be open Wednesday mornings between 8 am and 12 noon from June 20 – August 5, and then will be closed again until school reopens in September.
Start digging through your old books! The Book Swap is back! Outgrown that book? Have an extra copy that you don’t want? Bring in your old books and find some “new” books.

It’s that time of year when there’s a little chill in the night air and everyone is settling down from summer vacations…and a new school year is about to begin. We’re all looking forward to the return of the students next week to bring life back to the campus.
For those of you who are anxiously awaiting the opening of the library, I thought that I’d let you know that we’ve got 5 huge boxes of new books to start out the year. There just might be something in there for everyone. The downside is that we’re not open for business until Wednesday, September 1, the official opening day of school. But then we’ll be up and running, and looking forward to seeing all our families, old and new.
Take a look at our “About” page for library hours, class schedules, and other bits of info.
See you soon!
