Red from the bottom of the lake, yellow from the dried grass. the black paint from old tree stems, the blue was from special berries from the woods. He painted his house with these and everyone wanted their house painted with it too. We are going to have dismissal after recess. After dismissal some people will go home and some people will go to after school. It was a great, spectacular, sparkly day ever!

Dear K1 families,

We had morning choices, greeting meeting, morning choices, calendar, and snack. We had a field trip. For our field trip we went to Lighthouse Park. We got bags to put all living creatures that we found (called organisms) in.  Two people found a little tide pool that had special shells in it. The person who taught us about tide pools was Mrs. Long. She is a science teacher here at Foote for the big kids.  We took a picture at the Lighthouse and we got to play on the playground. The playground was last and there were big kids there too. One person went on a rock and slipped and his shoe fell off his foot. In library today was the last day we could take out books. One person got how big a bird’s egg was. Some of us changed their books around. So everyone except two people have a different book. We had gym. In gym we had races and we did baton races. We had relay races.  In the baton races, Erik had to called whats we and to do. We will have dismissal and a second recess. Dear K1 families,

Yesterday we made our furniture for our buildings with wood and wood glue. We had art and we made some of the monsters and next week we are going to make the other parts we did not make. We did not have closing meeting because we had rehearsal.

It’s almost May Day. We had clean-up time. Our ticket out was to go to the bathroom, do your afternoon job and if you don’t have one then you can choose one or clean-up. Some people are going to go to the picnic. Today was C day but it was cancelled because of a special occasion. So on Tuesday it will be C day and we will have library and gym. We had 107 words in this message!

It was a great, great awesome day!
